For parents who will do anything to be the source of empowerment for their children
To experience the joy of connection with your children.
To know that you’re supporting and empowering them.
And to discover your unique way of being a loving, present, and supportive parent
You are already a wonderful parent. You’re always ready to be there for your children, to give them a hand, and to be the shoulder they can lean on.
You care deeply about empowering your children. You do so many wonderful things: You listen and try to speak with love and respect.
And yet, sometimes it still doesn’t always work. Your kids pull away, shut down, or stop sharing what really matters. It’s heartbreaking, because you’re doing your best – but something in the connection still slips through the cracks.
What if you knew how to turn every talk with your children into an opportunity to connect with them?
What if those talks will become their source of confidence in the world?
What if you knew how to reduce power struggles, frustration, and the constant feeling of having to put out fires?
This can be done!
Not theoretically or by using a quick fix.
But by practising an approved communication approach based on the tools of coaching, which has helped thousands of people like you develop self-confidence in themselves as parents, and in their children.
These are hands-on, practical tools that form meaningful, lasting relationships for everyone involved.
You are not alone.
Every parent has experienced trying to engage and help their children, thinking they’re saying the right supportive things, but instead of engagement, they received a turned back, eyes rolled up and slamming of doors.
This happens to us simply because nobody has ever shown us how to do it right.
Nobody modelled it to us.
In fact, sometimes they modelled the opposite.
And we’re here to show you simple and effective ways to form stronger connections with your kids, at any age and even in the most challenging situations.
I’m Noa Brume, a senior life coach and the founder of The ICCI, and I have invited counselling psychologist and coach Stella Redman to give this mini-course together with me.
We both believe that there’s so much we can do for our children through the connections we will build with them over the years, even when they’re already adults.
Neither of us has grown up fluent in the language of connection. But we both studied counselling and coaching, and discovered a whole world of possibilities to create strong bonds with people, our children included, and to be able to support and empower them.
We’re here to show you how you can easily do this too.
Join us for 3 fun and inspiring sessions, full of practice and knowledge.
“I recently attended the ‘Empowering Communication with our Children’ workshop, and it was a meaningful experience that empowered and inspired me.
The workshop struck the perfect balance between insight, interactive activities, and practical tools that I could apply straight away, both at home and as a teacher. It really deepened my awareness of how compassion and presence can transform the way we connect with others.”

This mini-course is given online via Zoom.

People will get to practise with each other, share (if they wish), and exercise hands-on to get experience and confidence in the materials shared.
3 Wednesdays from 19:00 to 21:00 Amsterdam time
(18:00 to 20:00 London time / 20:00 to 22:00 Athens time)
Course dates:
November 26th, 2025
December 3rd, 2025
December 10th, 2025
Theme: Self-awareness • Feelings • Needs • Genuineness
Before we can respond to our children with empathy, we need to understand what’s happening within ourselves. This session focuses on recognising our emotions, identifying our needs, and being honest and congruent in our communication. Through simple psychoeducation and reflection, parents learn how self-awareness and authenticity form the foundation of healthy, empowering relationships.
We’ll understand the difference between thoughts, feelings, and needs.
We’ll know how to recognise our personal triggers and emotional patterns.
We’ll practise self-awareness and self-empathy.
We’ll explore what genuineness and emotional honesty are in parenting and why they are important
Theme: Empathy • Acceptance • Presence
Children thrive when they feel accepted, understood, and seen just as they are. In this session, we explore what empathy and acceptance look like in everyday parenting. Parents learn how these attitudes create emotional safety and confidence, helping children build self-worth and resilience.
We’ll understand what children need to thrive emotionally.
We’ll recognise the conditions we may unconsciously place on acceptance.
We’ll practise empathic listening and attuned responses.
We’ll learn how unconditional acceptance empowers rather than spoils.
Theme: Validation • Reflection • Empowerment
This final session brings everything together in practice. We explore how to communicate in ways that calm, reassure, and strengthen connection even when things go wrong. Parents discover that reflection and re-connection matter far more than perfection. Through guided exercises, participants practise listening with empathy, validating emotions, and finding the words that help a child feel understood and safe again.
We’ll understand validation as a way of helping children feel heard and accepted.
We’ll learn how reflection helps restore connection.
We’ll practise empathic communication that supports emotional safety and trust.
We’ll strengthen confidence in staying calm and connected during difficult moments.

I’m Noa Brume, a senior life coach, supervisor, expert trainer, and the founder of The ICCI.
I love people. I enjoy seeing them develop and dare to move their lives forward.
Before I entered the world of coaching, I was a teacher for 17 years. I taught both in primary and secondary schools, and I loved teaching the children and working together with the parents.
I’m a great believer that empowered children start with supporting parents.
I believe that everyone can use coaching and mentoring skills to improve communication at home, at work and in building meaningful and deep relationships.
This is why I was delighted to invite the inspiring and knowledgeable counselling psychologist and coach Stella Redman to host this course with me.
I’m Stella Redman, a counselling psychologist and coach working in The Hague and online. I believe that how we communicate directly shapes the quality of our relationships, and that balanced connection is vital for emotional well-being. My work focuses on helping people speak, listen and repair in ways that build closeness, resilience, belonging and growth.
After recording a podcast episode with Noa for The ICCI and giving a super successful workshop together, I’m very much looking forward to joining her again on another exciting adventure together.
Of course!
First, research has shown that the teenage years are stretched even until the age of 25.
Secondly, this course will talk about building strong relationships, no matter what age. You’ll be able to use the knowledge with everyone else, and not just your children.
Thirdly, we’ll always be their parents, and we’ll always want their best, and any relationships can be repaired (if willing) at any stage or age.
So just join, you’ll find it very rewarding.
Of course! The earlier you start to adopt the concepts of supporting and empowering your children, the better.
In fact, this will help you to reduce the chance of making mistakes later.
No, just the will to learn and develop as a parent and as a person.
The idea behind this mini-course is that you immediately apply what was shown in your day-to-day life, so there’s no official extra learning. You decide how much to practise the tools and skills and when. It’s in your hands. There are also no official assignments.
No, this is a knowledge-based course to enrich your parenting experience. This is not replacing coaching or therapy, and personal sessions are not part of this course.
If you wish to receive private coaching sessions from one of us, this can be arranged separately of course.
Although The ICCI is a coaching institute, and this mini-course is based on coaching knowledge, tools and skills, this is not teaching you to become a coach.
For that, we have the full coaching courses and the programme Coaching for Success. You are welcome to look at our courses here.
For 1 year after the end of the course. We recommend that you download whatever is relevant to you as we share it.
Since we only take a very limited number of people on board the course, you are essentially taking someone else’s place, which we rely on their presence and payment.
This is why a refund will only be available until 48 hours before the beginning of the course, with a deduction of €20 for administration.
No.
We adhere to confidentiality and therefore will not record the session, to minimise the risk that it will somehow find its way to unwanted hands.
What is shared in the course stays in the course.
